BRUNO LUCCHESI’s work has been added to the collections of the Whitney Museum of American Art, the Brooklyn Museum, and the Dallas Museum, among many others. Lucchesi has received awards from the National Academy, the National Arts Club, and the Architectural League. He was a Guggenheim Fellow in 1962-1963, he won a Gold Medal award from the National Academy of Design in 1990, and was awarded the Polich Tallix Foundry Prize from the National Sculpture Society in 2009.

Their stern faces show that they are very serious.One man has lifted the other man and has him upside-down, putting him in a very compromising position, as he grabs onto the other man in a very uncomfortable manner. hey so i’m about to start school, and i’m taking sculpture. i really like Auguste Rodin’s works…. in fact i’ve done “The Thinker” and the “Fallen Caryatid”. i also like “The Kiss” and “Eternal Spring”… but i want to expand my variety of different sculptors… could any of you help me other figure sculptures by othe sculptors?

From pottery to painting to sculpture, Greeks continuously moved toward portraying the human figure and the rest of the world with more true-to-life realism, that is…making the art object realistically, as we actually see it in real life.
is this true or false. i thought the greeks were more into the gods and goddesses, so it would be false right, althought hey did make them look life like? im not sure how to answer this question, any help is appreciated. i think its true!

“BATMAN BEGINS STATUE”–Made out of Polymere clay, toy wax and a wire armature–approx 1/6 scale or 12 tall–date completed 2008 Ok, here’s the full figure I sculpted at different angles. The body is made out of polymere clay and the arms, sheath and base I used toy wax. The sword was provided by the person I made it for. It’s not the sword that will go with the final figure. The figure itself is Christian Bale from Batman Begins. He is wearing a ninja outfit that he wore near the beginning of the movie while he was in training.
